“There’s always something happening”

We’re proud to share a recent review of The Lark Lisburn from The Belfast Telegraph, marking our fourth birthday in Lisburn Square.

The review describes The Lark as a lively and thriving pub that has grown into a real destination over the past few years. Located in the heart of the city on the site of the former Tuesday Bell, the venue was praised for its modern look and welcoming feel following a £1 million investment.

A place with constant energy

One of the strongest points highlighted was the sense of activity inside The Lark. The review notes that there is always something worth coming in for, which is precisely what we aim to offer. From drag brunches and murder mystery nights to themed quizzes and live gigs, our weekly programme gives regulars plenty of reasons to return.

The Lisburn Comedy Club also received a special mention, with the reviewer calling it a must-visit for fans of live comedy and homegrown talent. It has quickly become a firm favourite with our guests and a key part of our events calendar.

Drinks and atmosphere

Behind the bar, The Lark was recognised for offering a well-rounded drinks selection. The review highlighted our range of cocktails, mocktails and wines, alongside a beer lineup that balances familiar favourites with newer options.

The venue itself was described as modern and versatile, capable of catering to different crowds on different nights. Whether guests arrive for a quiet drink or a busy event, most will find something to enjoy.

Friendly service at the heart of it

Service during the visit was described as smooth, with staff praised for being attentive and on form throughout. For us, that matters as much as the events and drinks. A good night out is built on people as much as it is on the space.

Thank you for four great years

We’re grateful to Edwin McFee and The Belfast Telegraph for taking the time to visit and review The Lark. More than anything, we’re thankful to everyone who has supported us since opening. The regulars, performers, quiz teams and first-time visitors are what keep this place busy week after week.

If you haven’t called in yet, you’ll find us in Lisburn Square. Drop by for a drink, catch an event, and see what’s happening.
